Lucinda Hewitson

Founder and Director of Diversity Inclusion
Lucinda Hewitson is an industry leader in Diversity and Inclusion. As an Organisational Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience, Lucinda works with companies and industry bodies in Australia and abroad.

Since establishing her business in 2013, Lucinda has advised global mining companies, federal and state government agencies, utilities, the insurance sector, and international consulting firms on improving diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Lucinda was formerly the Head of HR: Recruitment, Resourcing and Diversity & Inclusion at BAE Systems Australia. She was a finalist in the 2013 AHRI Diversity Awards and a Telstra Business Women's Award finalist in 2015 and 2020.

Georgia Brown

Senior Advisor
As a member of the Diversity Inclusion team, Georgia partners with organisations across Australia, supporting them to assess their current state, identify specific needs and objectives, and implement strategies to support their improvement.

As a registered psychologist, Georgia holds a special interest in educating organisations about the benefits of diversity and inclusion, assessing, and developing inclusive facilities, and creating workplaces free from bullying, harassment, and discrimination. 

Georgia has completed extensive research in the relationship between workplace bullying policies and workplace bullying experiences. As a result, she brings significant knowledge and a unique perspective to our work in this space.

Georgia delivers Diversity Inclusion’s workshops to clients across Australia, in global mining organisations, government agencies, professional and sporting organisations and within the production industry. She has also been heavily involved in the design and development of Diversity Inclusion’s online learning modules, partnering with clients to understand their unique needs, and creating online solutions to meet these requirements.

Sophie Horwood

Marketing and Communications Consultant
Holding a Master of Marketing, Sophie has over 10 years’ experience advising super funds on marketing, communications, and engagement strategies. 

With a specialisation in corporate social responsibility (CSR), Sophie has extensive experience and a strong passion for diversity and inclusion, sustainability, gender equality, Indigenous affairs, and community partnerships.

Responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of diverse brand, marketing, and communications tactics for Diversity Inclusion, Sophie has a strong track-record of delivering outstanding and impactful results.

Over her career, Sophie has been awarded a plethora of industry marketing awards, has served as a Director of Women in Super and Spence Club Inc, and has volunteered for countless not-for-profit organisations and charities including UN Women, the Mother’s Day Classic, Spirit of Woman and the Hutt St Centre.

Alipate Carlile

Diversity & Inclusion Associate
Alipate was a professional AFL footballer with the Port Adelaide Football Club from 2005-2016. As a member of the Club’s leadership group he found his passion for coaching, teaching and leadership and has an Executive Certificate in Player Development and Level 2 AFL Coaching qualification. 

As the Port Adelaide Football Club’s Multicultural Programs Manager, Alipate delivered workshops with schools in partnership with Local Councils. He has worked closely with all employees at the City of Salisbury successfully rolling out Diversity Inclusion’s cultural competency workshop. 

Alipate is passionate about inclusion and brings first-hand experience as a player and professional to his role as a facilitator.
